Schedule: 8-Hour Evening Shift - 2PM to 10AM, Monday to Friday

We are presently seeking a candidate interested in the position of Production Supervisor . Under the supervision of the Production Manager, the Production Supervisor is mainly responsible for managing a production team of approximately 50 people, promoting health and safety, quality, good manufacturing / production practices (GMP) and the continuous improvement of teams and results and the promotion of change.Advantages

Responsibilities
  • The Production Supervisor will act as a leader (model) with his team regarding the rules and company policies;
  • Ensure compliance with the established standard work processes and procedures;
  • Reach, maintain or exceed the standards of production (speed and direct labor) while maintaining the level of quality defined and waited for our customers;
  • Ensure monitoring priorities, respect of production schedule and manage his team accordingly;
  • Contribute to the implantation of a continuous improvement culture by actively participating in various initiatives and acting as a promoter;
  • Act as a coach for members of his teams so that each one contributes to the company's objectives;
  • Assess employees according to their performance during their probation period and / or on an annual basis and communicate observations;
  • Ensure that all employees received the training necessary to perform their duties;
  • Develop the competencies of the employees
  • Ensure daily coordination with other sectors to minimize disruptions to lines and / or product waste;
  • Accountable for the results of his area;
  • Track, promote and effectively implement procedures in force;
  • Promote teamwork, collaboration, respect and leadership;
  • All other related task as required by the Production Manager.
Qualifications
  • College diploma (an asset);
  • A minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment (cosmetics and pharmaceuticals, an asset);
  • Bilingual, (French and English) oral and written;
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, an asset;
  • Knowledge of ERP system (AS400 and SAP an asset);
  • Knowledge of Office suite (Word, Excel, power point).
