- You will support client workshops, discovery, design, and migration plan and approach in support of seamlessly migrating Active Directory Forests including all users, computers, GPOs, services and objects.
- Executing tasks in support of the designing, planning, and implementing extensive Active Directory migrations for 5000+ users across multiple forests and domains.
- As Perform initial discovery efforts, defining data collection requirements based on inputs needed to develop a successful migration plan.
- Utilize advanced data analysis techniques and benchmarks to define the future state migration plan, and the pre-migration activities necessary to close gaps on co-existence requirements.
- Forecast backend infrastructure needs resulting from the migration of multiple entities into a single architecture.
- Optimize end-to-end system performance and migration workflows.
- Conduct data captures to obtain computing performance and system configuration information.
- Define migration plans that accelerate execution and minimize impact to the user community.
- Establish migration plans for complex n-tier applications and services.
- Gather needed data to forecast long-term capacity and performance requirements.
- Implement the Active Directory architecture based on organizational requirements and team lead guidance.
- Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of the AD infrastructure.
- Setup and configure the performance monitoring of Active Directory services and take proactive measures to optimize performance.
- 2+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, focusing on Active Directory services and migrations.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator
- Expert, or Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate
- Strong time management skills, committed, proactive individual with the ability to work in a dynamic team environment.
- Experience with Windows Server 2008/2008 R2, Server 2012/2012R2, Server 2016, and Server 2019
- Enterprise management (more than 10,000 users) experience with design, implementation, BCDR
