Fitter/ Maintenance Worker

• Conduct regular servicing and maintenance of machinery to ensure optimal functionality.
• Perform troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical components and electrical systems as needed.
• Adhere to preventative maintenance schedules to minimise downtime and maximise equipment lifespan.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to prioritize tasks and address urgent issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment condition.

• Possession of EST (Electrical Service Technician) certification from the EWRB (Electrical Workers Registration Board) is mandatory.
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Fitter or similar role, with expertise in servicing machinery.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work in Penrose, Auckland, within a food manufactory site covering bread, pastry, cake, and confectionery sectors.

• Competitive hourly rate ranging from $40 to $50 for the right candidate, dependent on experience and qualifications.
