- Schedules and assigns daily work activities to staff and supervises the completion of tasks
- Assists in the writing of weekly cycle menus with admin/FSD following Aramark's Marketing playbook requirements
- Trains and guides staff on job duties, standard food safety and sanitation procedures, cooking methods and master cleaning schedule
- Cooks and prepares food following production guidelines and standardized recipes
- Ensures the setting up of workstations with all needed ingredients and equipment to meet service timelines
- Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items
- Proficient with knife skills and proper utensil handling following Aramark safety standards (cut gloves)
- Operates equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
- Bakes, roasts, broils, steams, and uses a variety of cooking methods on meats, vegetables, and other foods
- Arranges, garnishes, and portions food following established guidelines ensure staff are trained on proper portioning each service
- Properly stores food by following food safety policies and procedures. Dating, labeling and proper rotation FIFO
- Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils
- Maintains excellent customer service with a positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers and serves as needed on during peak service times
- Follows Aramark safety policies and procedures including food safety and sanitation
- Ensures security of company assets
- Produces and maintains all temperature, heating/cooling, refrigeration/freezer and production logs
- Completes monthly inventory ensuring accuracy with FSD
- Completes safety/sanitation audits as assigned
- Conducts daily pre-service meeting in the absence of the FSD
- Previous supervisor experience in a related role preferred
