  • The Flight Data Monitoring (FDM) Specialist is responsible for the implementation, control and supervision of the FDM program and in conjunction with fellow team members, the coordination of the occurrence reporting database
Represents the company on FDM and safety mattersImplements procedures relating to FDM, compliant to regulations, according to DHA standards and regularly updatedSupervises and controls FDM related activitiesSupports documentation and implementation of relevant ISARPS for IOSA certification * Defines processes and procedures required for flight data monitoring and oversightYOUR TASKS:Acts as the administrator for the FDM system applicationOversees of all Operational FDM events to ensure that they are analysed and investigated as requiredAssists with the investigation of accidents, incidents and hazardous occurrencesSupports coordination of the occurrence reporting databaseResearches and undertakes statistical analysis of data to identify operational hazards, potentially hazardous conditions and adverse trendsDevelops and delivers of internal trainingsMaintains safety documentationProvides advice and support to other internal departmentsLiaises with external bodies and stakeholders such as Civil Aviation Authorities (ACG), group and external airlinesYOUR QUALIFICATIONS:Holds an undergraduate degree in aviation engineering or similarSignificant experience in flight data monitoringSound knowledge of FDM software tools and flight data evaluationPractical experience and expertise in the application of aviation safety standards and safe operating practicesFamiliarity with management systems preferably in the area of aviation5 years of relevant work experience of which at least 2 years should be from the aeronautical industry in an appropriate positionEnglish language proficiencySound understanding of flight operations processes and procedures and organizational requirements, quality assurance and safety implicationsStrong interpersonal skills, able to build effective working relationshipsSocial and communication competenciesAbility to work autonomously and under pressureKnowledge of:the applicable EU safety regulations and any associated requirements and proceduresthe AOC holder's operations specificationsthe need for, and content of, the relevant parts of the AOC holder's operations manualOUR OFFER:Career opportunities in a dynamic, international environmentNew, modern office at Vienna Airport with very good public transport connectivityCompany benefits such as employee discounts in stores at Vienna Airport, access to myIDtravel, corporate benefits and much moreAttractive salary in accordance with your previous work experience and qualificationsDo you see a personal challenge in these versatile and responsible tasks?
