Come join our team!Summary:As a member of the leadership team, you will report directly to the General Manager and be responsible for the maintenance functions of our London, OH HIP plant. The Maintenance Manager position leads and manages the mechanical maintenance department. This role will be the Subject Matter Expert for the repairs and maintenance of mechanical process equipment and will provide daily maintenance support and capital project support by providing direction and instruction as needed. This role will manage contractors for maintenance and project work and will be responsible for assessing plant capital equipment needs and managing the CapEx budget.Major Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for all general maintenance duties including painting, cleaning, fixture/tooling fabrication, installing belts, bearings, chains, etc.
  • Responsible for maintaining plant equipment, including preventative maintenance and new equipment installation.
  • Monitor, reinforce, and oversee the health, safety, and environmental performance of the department and employees.
  • Supervise and direct all maintenance department employees including discipline and reviews.
We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
  • This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements, therefore candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident Card Holders.
  • Four-year college degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related discipline, or 15 years of equivalent work experience.
  • Five (5) yrs. supervisory experience.
  • Ten (10) yrs. cumulative maintenance experience in an industrial environment.
  • Deep and thorough knowledge of industrial manufacturing systems and heavy-duty piping and plumbing.
  • Experience with cooling water systems and exposure to water treatment systems would be advantageous.
  • Basic electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
