- Liaise with key partners (e.g., BTP IT Leadership and Teams, Global Application Business Owners, Global Business Process Owners, IT Infrastructure and Support Teams, External Application Vendors, etc.) to ensure clear communications and effective and compliant solutions.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with key partners to drive a partnership model and global application governance.
- Inspire and lead a geographically and culturally diverse group of IT professionals to meet and/or exceed business expectations with a Servant Leadership approach.
- Foster business-oriented and digital-ready culture, approaches, and practices.
- Retain key talent and develop the team through active career, development, and performance management.
- Provide demonstrable experience leading/supporting global applications with a desire for simplification and standardization, detailed process analysis and design, system architecture, technology standard adoption, and computer system validation(CSV)/computer software assurance(CSA) in a GxP environment.
- Able to conceptualize and articulate solutions within the existing framework of functionality and future needs of the business.
- Apply knowledge of Agile, DevOps and Waterfall methodologies with alignment to these methodologies including the use of collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.
- Experience in with Service NOW for application change control and incident management.
- Bridge the gap between technical teams and partners, translating complex application requirements and data into actionable business insights.
- Support and deliver programs and projects that ensure compliance and drive business value in areas of OT Protections: Network Segmentation & OT Asset Visibility, Alcon Manufacturing Protection Program (AMPP): Continuous improvement program for OT organizational, technology, and process maturity, and Cybersecurity: Continuous effort to ensure production capability through reduction of security risk.
- Find opportunities to advance Alcon manufacturing capabilities in the digitization, automation, and analytics space (Industry 4.0).
- Ability to multi-task and meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school+15 yrs; Assoc.+11 yrs; M.S.+4 yrs; PhD+3 yrs)
- The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
- 7 Years of Relevant Experience
- 5 Years of Demonstrated Leadership
- Master’s degree.
- 7 years of leading a team in application operational and implementation support in a global environment.
- Knowledge of key business processes supporting asset management, preventive maintenance, validation, product labeling, and calibration business capabilities, along with associated application implementation practices and procedures.
- Experience delivering and supporting key applications such as Maximo, Informer Mobility, Loftware, ProCal, Kneat.
