Under the direction of the department Supervisor/Manager, the Painter is responsible for coating surface parts, assembling and finishing products with protective or decorative materials such as paint, varnish, enamel, lacquer, dope or stain using spray gun.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Determines and selects correct mixes of coating material.
- Applies paint to parts as directed by job orders.
- Identifies and coats areas that are inaccessible to hand sprayer.
- Identifies problems with equipment and will troubleshoot or repair paint guns.
- Responsible for running ovens as needed.
- Will complete visual inspection of masking on parts to ensure consistency as well as inspect for damaged product.
- Completes necessary paperwork.
- Works closely with the production team and assist as needed.
- Adheres to safety regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Ability to communicate, read, and understand English.
- Basic math skills.
- Experience using and troubleshooting gravity spray gun.
- Previous experience in aerospace industry or automotive repair, a plus.
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with team members at all levels in the organization.
- Good attitude and an eagerness to learn and grow

Resident).PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Walking/Standing for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs
- Exposed heat, noise and chemical fumes while in production areas
- Good hand and eye coordination and movement
