- Support the university's leadership and mission.
- Monitor and manage the admission process and daily activity.
- Manage recruitment and yield initiatives for all academic programs.
- Ensures that all paperwork is completed correctly and on time.
- Provide opportunities for prospective students to visit the campus for open houses, tours, and other activities intended to interest potential students.
- Assure adherence to criteria of accrediting bodies and regulations of licensing agencies in the implementation of plans and all other activities.
- Fulfill annual 8 CEU requirements by the Florida Commission on Independent Education (CIE).
- Work with the other University departments to assess and respond to admissions and marketing needs.
- Comply with governmental regulations and standards of accreditation as they relate to enrolling students and recruitment activities.
- Identify potential problems that may interfere with or be a barrier to students and provide a strategic plan with solutions.
- Perform and assist in other administrative functions and duties as assigned by President.
- Direct and monitor admissions team performance with a high focus on motivation.
- Develop and manage the admissions budget.
- Provide daily supervision, conduct performance appraisals, and delegate work assignments to the admissions department coordinator.
- Keep all marketing, admission, and training material on file and current.
- Ongoing training for all admission personnel.
- Be directly involved in the development and execution of student recruitment activities and inquiry generation for all academic programs.
- Ensure that the university is positively viewed by prospective students and parents, including systematic and efficient handling of applications and communication with families and prospective students.
- Direct and monitor marketing team performance with a high focus on motivation.
- Develop a long-range marketing plan for the strategic direction in both domestic and international markets that significantly drives inquiry production.
- Develop and manage the marketing budget.
- Conduct market research and analysis of the data to improve the organization’s marketing efforts and create critical drivers to increase brand awareness and inquiry production.
- Periodically review and analyze the university’s internal customers to assess strengths and weaknesses, seeking to improve the brand in the domestic and international communities.
- Overseeing and managing all promotional material for the university.
- Manage all domestic and international online and offline marketing media, i.e., television, radio, web, print, international representatives, social media ads, Google / Bing ads, etc.
- Responsible for managing, updating, and maintaining all aspects of the websites and landing pages.
- Provide day-to-day supervision, conduct performance appraisals, and delegate work assignments to the marketing assistants.
- 3+ years of experience in college or university administration/marketing and admissions.
- Management experience, preferably as a Marketing and Admissions Director in proprietary higher education settings.
- Strong computer literacy with well-developed skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
- Fluent in English and Spanish preferred.
