- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with youth, parents, referral and funding sources, siblings and/or extended safety nets.
- Provide individual and family therapy in accordance with program, DYS, DEEC and ECHS policies and procedures.
- Manage the development and implementation of Individual Service Plans.
- Supervise case management and advocacy for youth.
- Have knowledge of resources in each community in which youth live.
- Attend administrative, staff, shift change meetings, and facilitate clinical and community meetings.
- Help organize and participate in staff training.
- Master's degree in the Healing Arts and independently licensed as a LICSW, LMFT or LMHC. At least three years direct experience with the population.
- Knowledge and experience with clinical issues of children and adolescents and working knowledge of DBT and
- substance abuse.
- At least one year in a supervisory role.
- Must be proficient in English and possess and convey effective verbal and written
- Ability to develop and maintain professional working relationships with residents, staff, co-workers and supervisor.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and cultural groups.
- Ability to physically carry out Crisis Prevention Intervention techniques.
