- Conduct sustainability assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement sustainability strategies and action plans.
- Provide guidance and support to organizations in implementing sustainable practices.
- Analyze data and metrics to track progress and measure the impact of sustainability initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in sustainability.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive sustainability initiatives.
- Provide training and education to staff on sustainable practices and procedures.
- Assist in the development of sustainability policies and procedures.
- Engage with government agencies and community organizations to ensure compliance with regulations and promote sustainable practices.
- Support the analysis of environmental factors of the product portfolio.
- Competencies in the modeling of lifecycle assessments following ISO Standard 14067 with GaBi software from Sphera.
- Experience in the development or assessment of environmental product declarations.
- Development of an end-of-life model.Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, sustainability, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- 7-10 years of proven experience in sustainability consulting or related field
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and best practices
- Experience in addressing Scope 1 to 4 emissions as per the Greenhouse Gas Protocol
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
- Project management experience is a plus
