  • Directly supervises the following staff and functions: Sr. Information & Technology Analyst, Assistant Registrar for Course Management and Scheduling, Assistant Registrar for Degree Certification, Assistant Registrar for Degree Audit and Course Planning.
  • Directs the strategic use of systems and technology to streamline processes and improve administrative services that impact all RIT students, faculty, and staff dependent on student records and academic planning systems and data. This includes the support provided centrally to colleges, academic departments, and other Academic Affairs student service units. Serves as the manager/director for these efforts affecting all of Academic Affairs. Leads the implementation of new student systems related to registrar's office services. Collaborates with all campus partners needing student records data for new or revised system integrations. Serves as the primary liaison with Information and Technology Services (ITS).
  • Collaborates with the Associate Registrar on all communications and trainings directed to students, advisors and college and academic department leadership.
  • Responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of all services delivered to students, faculty, advisors, college, and academic department leadership and for measuring satisfaction with these services. Manager for the reengineering of business processes to provide enhanced service levels to students, faculty, and staff; enhance, streamline, and automate time consuming manual business processes; eliminate outdated processes; and minimize paper-based business processes, impacting all RIT students, colleges, academic departments, faculty and academic department staff.
  • Manages enrollment reporting and compliance initiatives set forth by the University and federal requirements. Ensures data integrity and timely reporting by creating and implementing checks and balances.
  • Collaborate with the Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs/Registrar and the Associate Registrar in the definition of department-wide goals and strategies.
