- Responsible for the ensuring the integrity and stability of quality control processes at the facility, and compliance with related system requirements.
- Implement and maintain APQP process including operator process control, FMEA, PPAP processing and submission, establishment of control plans, 8D facilitation and maintaining QS.
- Assist in problem solving with suppliers and customers for product identified as nonconforming, support supplier development activities.
- Develop and initiate standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation of conformance to specifications.
- Compiles and writes training material, work instructions and conducts training sessions for quality control and assurance activities.
- Implement and monitor statistical process control activity as required by the customer and internal requirements.
- Communicate with customers, suppliers and internal personnel via email, face to face communication, and/or phone communication.
- Work in fast paced manufacturing environment; handle multiple project at the same time.
- Develops and maintains internal audits.
- Manage the annual IATF16949 audit.
- Setup MENA’s Quality System for the new fine blanking stamping division and get IATF16949 certified.
- BA/BS Preferred in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
- Requires a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in Quality Management, preferably in the Automotive industry.
- Experience in a stamping environment would be a plus.
- IATF16949 experience.
- Internal audit, core tools (8D methodology, MSA, APQP, SPC, FMEA ) skills.
- Solid computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Minitab).
- Knowledge of SAP system would be a plus.
