Position Type: Full-Time Contract
Pay Rate: $55.00 - $80.00/hr, based upon qualifications. Hours over 40 weekly paid at standard hourly rate
Plus $166 per day per diem for out of area candidates, per GSA guidelines
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8 hour shifts during prepatory period. During turnaround period (approx. 7 weeks) it will be 5-12 hour days.
Travel Expenses: Coporate issued Client card; all travel expenses reimbursable via expense reports

On-Board Engineering Corp. is seeking a Construction Manager to be assigned to a Major Chemical Industry client in Spartanburg, SC. This position will oversee a multi-discplined project team, reporting to the local Sr. Project Engineer as well as a Project Manager.Scope: Removal of existing reactor and installation of new reactor in the location of existing. All of the existing piping and instrumentation will be plumbed back/reconnected to the new reactor. A new agitator will be installed on the new reactor. The existing reactor will be relocated to another location in a tank farm onsite.Responsibilities:
1. Develop construction safety plan for job execution during outage
2. Write/pull work permits daily on site
3. Complete safety training that is required for the site and for permitting work- must follow all Syensqo safety rules
4. Manage installing contractor to ensure work is done safely, per requirements (quality & scope) and that schedule is adhered toNote:
