Job Description:The Systems and Processes Compliance Specialist will be responsible for providing support by writing
and editing standard operating procedures across the enterprise and evaluating compliance activities
across the business to ensure that we operate within all state and local laws, ordinances, rules, and
regulations across all divisions of the business.Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Creates and maintains state compliance SOPs across the enterprise
  • Write clear and concise SOPs that will guide team members in their day-to-day operations and
  • satisfy state requirements
  • Continuously review and updates SOPs as necessary to ensure they stay current and effective.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices related to SOP development and
  • documentation.
  • Supports management of regulatory compliance for all business lines in the state
  • Supports management of and ensuring state compliance training manuals and required trainings
  • are up to date, in partnership with compliance and management teams.
  • Supports management of the internal mock audit program.
  • Understand all regulation & state compliance guidelines for the industry
  • Accurately and promptly maintain records and reports.
  • Maintain a positive attitude, work collectively and respectfully with other team members.
  • Assist the legal team as necessary.
  • Additional duties as assigned by management.
Skills, Education and Experience:
  • Previous experience creating SOP’s
  • Ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into clear and concise SOPs.
  • Cannabis compliance preferred
  • Knowledge of applicable cannabis laws, rules, and regulations across multiple states preferred.
  • Highly developed organizational skills and demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage
  • multiple projects and priorities simultaneously with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet
  • deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and to be flexible and adaptable when a situation
  • requires it.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from individuals at all levels
  • of the organization.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; sophisticated interpersonal skills, including the
  • ability to develop strong internal relationships, influence others and work as part of cross-
  • functional teams.
  • Must be able to demonstrate advanced proficiency using Google Suite.
  • Candidate must successfully pass a criminal background investigation and fingerprint clearance.
  • Must be able to obtain an AZDHS issued Dispensary/Facility Agent Card
Full-time Exempt
Salary: $40,000 - $50,000 DOE
