Apply today.The Role.GMC are currently looking for Third- and Fourth-Year Plumbing Apprentices to join our team.Key Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Assist gas technicians in installing, maintaining, and repairing gas systems and appliances.
  • Learn and apply gas fitting techniques, codes, and regulations in compliance with safety standards.
  • Perform gas-related tasks such as pipe installation, pressure testing, leak detection, and appliance connections.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure the safe and efficient completion of gas-related projects.
  • Adhere to industry best practices and safety protocols to minimize risks and maintain quality standards.
The Candidate: Required Experience and Competencies:
  • Full clean driver’s license essential.
  • Enrolled in a recognized apprenticeship program for plumbing, with a minimum of two years completed.
  • Strong interest in the gas industry and a desire to specialize in gas fitting.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing principles, tools, and materials.
  • Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and demonstrate attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and professional development.
