  • Energise and lead a high-performing team of engineers, engineering managers, and staff engineers to surpass performance benchmarks.
  • Thrive in a Product Trio, crafting the future of industry-pioneering SaaS products alongside Product Management and Product Design leaders.
  • Foster synergy with fellow Engineering Leaders and across the R&D spectrum to set and execute best practices, enhancing our software's efficiency, quality, and reliability.
  • Spearhead Strategic Missions, leading the charge on R&D's most transformative and impactful investments.
  • Synchronize your Tribe's endeavors with Company OKRs, catalyzing pivotal outcomes that elevate our business trajectory.
  • Define and own your Tribe's scorecard, caring for quality, delivery, speed and excellence in how we work and support our products.
  • Be the voice of your Tribe and R&D, making your mark at company events, including our regular All Hands meetings.
  • Amplify Mews' presence in the tech community, engaging in speaking engagements and contributing to our blog and podcasts.
  • Embed customer-centric wisdom within your team, leveraging insights from discovery calls, customer events, and onsite customer visits.
  • Chart and navigate your product's multi-year strategy, dovetailing with overarching Company and R&D visions.
  • Architect the future of Mews' interconnected product ecosystem, with a sharp focus on scalability and interoperability.
  • Own and manage your Tribe's financial plan and budgeting.

  • Lead the charge in embracing automation across build and deployment processes.
  • Empower your Software Development Engineers in Test to embed automated testing processes, ensuring unwavering reliability and quality.

  • Proactively address technical challenges, ensuring swift resolution and maintaining project momentum.
  • Guarantee your team's outputs align with the highest standards of regulatory compliance and security.
Requirements
  • Over 8 years of experience in Software Engineering with a proven leadership pedigree.
  • Demonstrated prowess as a "manager of managers" leading organizations of 40+ engineers.
  • Exceptional communication skills, fostering effective cross-functional team collaboration.
  • A track record of nurturing high-caliber engineering teams to achieve monumental success.
  • Deep expertise in rolling out and managing mission-critical SaaS platforms and mobile applications.
  • A background in hospitality software offers a distinct edge.
  • Mastery over software development methodologies, tools, and processes, including Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Lean Principles, and DevOps.
  • Acute problem-solving acumen, paired with analytical and critical thinking prowess.
  • Experience in project management, resource allocation, and budget oversight.
