- Focuses on DoD 5000.02 artifacts and documentation to perform requirements analysis, including decomposition of high-level requirements into artifacts assignable during Agile program increments and sprints
- Apply systems engineering principles throughout the systems lifecycle phases: concept, development, production, utilization, support, and retirement
- Interact with project teams regarding systems engineering technical considerations and associated problems, issues, or conflicts
- Communicate with other Technical Direction Plan (TDL) project personnel, Government stakeholders, and senior executives
- Responsible for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288, to include: Technical Process Area, Enterprise Process Area, and Agreement Process Area
- Contribute to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation, such as Systems Engineering Plans, initial capability documents, requirements specifications, and interface control documents
- Bachelor's degree in an IT, Business, Engineering, Math, Science, or related field
- Five or more (5+) years of related experience
- If a candidate does not have a degree at all, four (4) additional years of experience are required
- If a candidate holds an Associates degree rather than a Bachelors degree, two (2) additional years of experience are required
- Master's degree in STEM or related discipline
- Relevant industry standard certifications such as INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP), Expert Systems Engineering Professional (ESEP) or OMG Certified Systems Modeling Professional–Advanced (OCSMP-A) certifications
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and methodologies
- This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance
- Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
- Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
- The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc
