Technical Architect (Big Data Architect) About the role: As a Technical Architect at o9, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our big data capabilities. Your expertise will drive the creation of innovative data solutions, impacting our projects and clients significantly. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about leveraging technology to solve complex problems. What You'll Do for Us: Design and implement lakehouse architecture using open-source Delta Lake, ensuring adherence to best practices. Develop data access architecture with API connectivity, including both batch and streaming data pipelines. Collaborate with customers and technical consultants to tailor big data solutions to specific requirements. Engage with o9 Development, DevOps, and project teams to contribute to project success at all levels. Produce technical documentation and manuals for customer use. Innovate in data pipeline creation and maintenance, focusing on automation, data quality checks, and security. Create and oversee enterprise-scale data pipelines, ensuring efficient maintenance and operation. Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a learning and growth environment within the team. What You'll Have: Education: A Master's Degree in Computer Science is preferred, with 5 years of relevant experience. Alternatively, a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, coupled with extensive, relevant experience. Experience: 7 years of experience in a related field. Over 5 years in Big Data related DevOps, with experience in architecting large-scale solutions. Real project experience integrating with SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or other prominent Order Management Systems. Familiarity with Graph technology-based databases. Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and experience with Delta Lake/Databricks. Expertise in Apache Airflow, Nifi, Spark, HBase. Strong background in Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP). Skills: In-depth understanding of network configurations and optimizations. Experience with web-based APIs, preferably REST/JSON or XML/SOAP. Demonstrated capability in implementing big data use-cases and understanding design patterns. Proficiency in OLAP and OLTP modeling. Familiarity with Machine Learning applications is a plus.
