The salary range for this position is $45,000 to $65,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. In addition to the base salary, there is also a commission structure in place for parts sales. - Manage the inventory of automotive parts in the dealership
- Monitor stock levels and reorder parts as needed
- Maintain accurate records of parts inventory and sales
- Communicate with service department to ensure timely and accurate parts delivery
- Manage the sales and profitability of parts department
- Train and supervise parts department staff
- Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints regarding parts
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote parts sales
- Participate in dealership meetings and provide reports on parts inventory and sales
- Create and maintain vendor relationships for efficient and timely parts orderingRequirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience in automotive parts management
- Knowledge of automotive parts and industry trends
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
