- Travel to various projects to perform accurate sampling and testing as per project standards and specifications
- Provide all sampling and testing information required for HRI, Inc., Inspection Staff, and Owner's Representative
- Conduct daily meetings with onsite staff to discuss daily testing needs and criteria
- Conduct follow-up to review results and any findings that may affect construction or payment
- Keep thorough records of all sampling, testing, and calculations performed on project for submission
- Keep up to date with all current and developing technologies required to perform the job
- Responsible for safely operating, maintaining, and caring for assigned testing equipment
- Nuclear gauge operation, transportation, and documentation
- Preconstruction review of project specifications and requirements
- Project testing, sampling, and delivery of samples to DOT and HRI, Inc. lab
- Communication with the lab to correlate field results with lab results
- Provide ongoing data such as paver speed and roller pattern throughout daily operations
- Proven track record working safely
- Overtime as required
- Good work ethic, professional, and positive attitude
- Travel will be required to specific job sites
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid driversâ license with the ability to maintain a clean driving history
- Previous experience and knowledge in related field preferred
- Wears and maintains personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by Company safety guidelines
- Regularly required to lift and /or move up to 50 pounds with or without assistance
- Regularly required to use hands to move and manipulate objects
- Regularly required to communicate (talk and hear)
- Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Standing/working on feet for long periods, and walking across uneven terrain
- Frequent exposure to loud noise
- Regularly exposed to all outdoor weather conditions, dust, and airborne particles
- Regularly exposed to fuel, oil, and other chemicals
- Required to work varying hours, including nights/weekends, Overtime as required
- Must comply with the company's drug and alcohol testing requirements
