As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our team and drive our operations to new heights.Position Overview:As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our range and retail store, with an added focus on overseeing our membership program. You will be a key player in developing and implementing strategies to drive sales, enhance customer satisfaction, and maximize profitability. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and a keen eye for business development opportunities.Responsibilities:Leadership and Team Management:
  • Provide strong leadership, mentorship, and guidance to a diverse team of professionals.
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and a customer-centric culture.
  • Set performance goals, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations for all team members.
  • Identify training and development needs, and ensure the team is equipped with the necessary skills to excel in their roles.
Membership Program Management:
  • Oversee strategies to grow and retain our membership base, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Coordinate and implement innovative marketing initiatives and campaigns to drive membership sign-ups and renewals in cooperation with our Membership Coordinator.
  • Analyze membership data and market trends to identify opportunities for enhancing the membership program and improving customer experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of the membership program with overall business operations.
Range and Retail Operations:
  • A prioritization of the utmost safety of all staff, patrons, and equipment within the facility.
  • Oversee day-to-day store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, range operations, training, and customer service.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as necessary to achieve financial goals.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
Customer Experience:
  • Foster a customer-centric environment by ensuring that exceptional customer service is delivered at all times.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve the customer experience through process enhancements and staff training.
Business Development:
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify business growth opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and business partners.
  • Explore potential collaborations, sponsorships, and strategic alliances to expand the company's reach.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as a General Manager or similar leadership role in the retail industry.
  • Strong knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and sales techniques.
  • Experience managing membership programs and driving customer loyalty initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to make informed business decisions.
  • Proficiency in using retail management software and tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
