Through philanthropy, the Foundation raises funds to strengthen the health care services available to our community. The Foundation has a successful history of securing funds to support new technology, implement hospital initiatives, provide support groups and invest in capital building projects to improve and expand inpatient and outpatient services for residents in the communities we serve.The Foundation Director provides the administrative leadership necessary to drive the strategic direction and operational management of the Foundation. The Director is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining a comprehensive fundraising program that maximizes philanthropic support for Fisher-Titus Medical Center and its affiliates.Essential Functions:
  • Responsible for foundation's operational excellence and ensures that it and its staff deliver quality services in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and professional standards.
  • Administering and directing the initiation of annual, capital, endowment, planned giving and special programs and events to meet or exceed the objectives of the Foundation strategic plan
  • Designs and executes plans to generate philanthropy by developing and leading strategic fundraising plans through a comprehensive and continuous calendar for all fundraising programs aligned with the mission and vision of the Foundation
  • Establishes and achieves annual fund raising goals for each program by researching funding sources, managing strategic partnerships, overseeing the preparation of grant proposals and donor communications
  • Identifies, cultivates and solicits major and planned gifts, and builds relationships with other foundations, corporations, individuals and community organizations for donor activation
  • Primary spokesperson for driving awareness of the Foundation’s mission to variance audiences, including community constituents, Fisher-Titus system staff, and our community
  • Event planning including budget responsibility, location sourcing, coordination of staffing, invite list management, and vendor coordination
  • Provides both Fisher-Titus Senior Leadership and the Foundation Board with regular reports on progress toward annual and quarterly goals
  • Strong relationships development and communication with Foundation Board of Directors; includes the facilitation of Executive Committee meetings and Board meetings
  • Designs, reviews and maintains operational policies, practices and guidelines of the Foundation, presenting to the Board for input and approval
  • Works with staff to develop policies and procedures to give guidance for daily operations, and keep all appropriate records
  • Hire, train, inspire, supervise, coach and guide direct reports and the entire Foundation team toward accountable, goal-oriented outcomes.
