- Maintenance, updates, and upgrades of Preventative Maintenance System, including planning in ERP software; scheduling with internal and external resources as well as production; creation of workorders; execution with assigned team; and reporting and evaluating of work performed and issues found.
- Machines and Facilities documentation in ERP system including spare parts ordering and planning; archiving prints and documentation; creation, updating and population of machine structures.
- Resource Planning, including researching, identifying, and ordering spare parts; time management with production scheduling and available work force.
- Responsible for the Fall Protection System including equipment, training, and knowledge resources.
- Standards representative; dedicated auditor; communication with company representatives; responsible for SOP accuracy; makes recommendations and executes changes.
- Processes new items for stock (setup in system, assign bin locations, and create barcode labels.)
- Generate repair item documentation, package repair item, contact local vendors for pickup.
- Perform administrative duties, update training matrix, safety contacts and reports.
- Ensure Safety, housekeeping and maintenance of the maintenance area.
- Improve accuracy, organization and Identification, through storage location reviews and labeling.
- Assign, review, and report critical parts inventory, Shelf checks and cycle counts.
- Perform stock checks as requested from MRO buyer and Maintenance planners.
- Research identified discrepancies of existing and incoming parts, incorrect or duplication of parts.
- Support daily operations of inventory usage, and putting up stock, deliveries.
- Maintain the plant’s spare parts inventory using the parts storage system and manage receiving and stocking spare parts.
- Research low stock / out of stock items, follow up on Requisition and PO’s, inform buyers of issues.
- Perform additional administrative and hands on duties as assigned by the Engineering Manager.
- Must have knowledge of production flow and the ability to establish priorities.
- Comprehends project instructions, manuals, and blueprints to ascertain specifications, procedures, objectives, nature of technical problem, and possible solutions to determine spare parts and develop sources to acquire these parts for job in planning.
- Able to read, understand and comprehend prints, drawings and manuals to identify spare parts and develop maintenance plans.
- Must be able to multi-task and prioritize in an ever-changing environment with demonstrated experience working with deadlines
- Fall Protection Training in accordance with OSHA.
