2. Ensures all employees check in using their assigned company badge/security card. Assists employees who do not have or have lost their badge.
3. Patrols and monitors an assigned area; reports suspicious activities to local authorities.
4. Monitors surveillance cameras, inspects property, and monitors crowds.
5. Contacts law enforcement or fire department in case of an emergency.
6. After business hours, may checks doors and windows, to ensure the property is secure.
7. Investigates reports of suspicious activity on the property.
8. Reasonably detains persons suspected of criminal activity until law enforcement arrives.
9. Escorts discharged staff, trespassers, and other unwelcome parties off the premises.
10. Performs other related duties as assigned.Qualifications:LEVEL I - 0-3 years of prior experience - High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelors' Degree or equivalent combination of education/experience. All legally/reasonably expected certifications needed for function and level. Work assignments are straight-forward and of moderate complexity. Makes decisions regarding own work, approach, and priorities. Typically receives detailed instructions on work, approach and priorities. No leadership responsibility.LEVEL II - 3-5 years of prior experience - Associates/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/experience. All legally/reasonably expected certifications needed for function and level. Work assignments are varied and require interpretation and independent decisions on course of action. Makes decisions regarding own work methods. Requires minimal direction. Seeks guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.LEVEL III - 5+ years of prior experience - Bachelors' Degree or equivalent combination of education/experience. All legally/reasonably expected certifications needed for function and level. Regularly exercises independent judgement on matters of significance within defined procedures to determine appropriate actions/approaches. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components and completion of own tasks/responsibilities of substantial complexity. Work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. May model/mentor and teach staff within own function or family.LEVEL IV - HS Diploma or equivalent. Bachelors' Degree or equivalent combination of education/experience. All legally/reasonably expected certifications needed for function and level. Leads complex projects/activities on regular basis. Determines daily priorities for work group; provides guidance/assists staff on non-routine/escalated issues. Requires little instruction on day to day work and general direction on more complex tasks and projects.
