- Manage inventory of supplies required for daily tasks.
- Demonstrate proficiency in English language conventions, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
- Maintain detailed records of all transcriptions, appropriately labeling electronic files for future use.
- Organize time effectively to ensure materials are promptly available for students.
- Establish and curate a diverse resource library to explore alternative material formats.
- Collaborate closely with the Teacher of Students with Vision Impairments (TSVI) to adapt materials as necessary.
- Stay updated on technological advancements related to braille production and assistive technology interfaces.
- Convert various materials, such as books, workbooks, tests, and assignments, into accessible formats for visually impaired students.
- Hold a Washington State License and Certification for the Braillist role.
- Ensure fingerprints are on record with the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) prior to start-date
