As an experienced community and whānau voice specialist, you will have:· Previous experience working in a consumer role within a health and disability service, where networking and engaging with whānau and stakeholders is a key component of the work.· Understanding of the health equity issues facing Māori.· Understanding of quality improvement and safety issues facing mokopuna, whānau and communities.· Knowledge and understanding of the complexities around mokopuna, whānau and community experiences of the health and disability system.· Well-developed organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines whilst preserving the highest level of accuracy and confidentiality.· An understanding of your Kawa and Tikanga· A commitment to building an understanding of Te Reo, although fluency in Te Reo would be an advantage.· Understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its role in the quality and safety of the health system.Ko wai mātou | Our OrganisationWe are Te Whatu Ora Te Toka Tumai Auckland.
