- Receives, stores, issues, cycle counts and back flushes material while required utilizing proper inventory control procedures. Initiates and receives Kanban items
- Maintains necessary equipment to ensure adequate supply is available for activity being conducted
- Advises Flowline Leader when supplies are low or when supply problems exist
- Returns incorrectly supplied or defective material to vendor
- Inspects incoming materials for defects and refers them to Flowline Leader for disposition
- Assembles parts using customer’s sales order, blueprints, procedure sheets, BM’s and/or oral instructions for correct requirements
- Moves material safely by hand or with hand lift truck as required by the Flowline Leader
- Medium-duty assembly which includes lifting parts varying from 10 to 50lbs and standing up periodically
- Sets up calibration equipment to properly calibrate and test instruments
- When calibration is completed, matches instrument with proper order
- Calibrates and performs tests to identify problem areas such as Hi-pot, hydrostatic, leaking, faulty cells, damaged wires, o-rings, plugs, valves, etc
- Verifies completed product with customer specifications
- Produces test certification as required
- Records labor and data transactions as required
- Welds caps to transducers prior to flange-up and using leak tests to assure proper sealing
- Perform toggling and temp compensation utilizing static press range benches, computer assisted calibration benches and any other equipment required to test instruments
- Capable of performing all job functions of the Flowline Assembly and Flowline Calibration areas
- Performs miscellaneous duties within scope of job know how
- Position requires knowledge of various means of testing, calibrating and adjusting instruments with computer assisted benches and/or hand held devices
- Job requires the ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams; ability to use shop mathematics in the interpolation of data; skill in the use of standard and special hand tools
- Familiarity with production schedules, work orders, bills of materials, shipping/receiving data
- Ability to work independently on and in a team environment to establish priorities to meet production
- Experience required is over 3 years and up to and including 5 years
- Must have attended training in Flow Line technology including Kanban practices
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
