  • Create a culture that fosters Pump & Pantry’s mission and values.
  • Consistently provide fair administration of human resources policies and practices.
  • Provide superior customer service through fun, friendly store while delivering quality products; responsible for customer relations and customer complaint resolution.
  • Responsible for district annual sales and customer growth that meets or exceeds company targets through quality orders, products, and efficient processes.
  • Effectively utilize all tools given in each store resulting in superior store conditions and sales growth management.
  • Perform store and health inspections to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Conduct inventory audits and loss prevention, inventory rotation and control.
  • Establish cash controls, policy and procedures compliance and review with the manager.
  • Accountable for MSDS compliance within the district.
  • Effective planning and execution of company objectives.
  • As the expert, mentors and trains store managers and assistants in all programs, processes and in-store concepts; develops leaders aligned with Division goals.
  • Ensure that managers and assistants are trained according to company standards and are able to complete duties as outlined in the manager and assistant job descriptions.
  • Establish and maintain a good working relationship with store managers and assistant managers through open and honest two-way communications.
  • Ensure that Pump & Pantry employees are following company policies and procedures as outlined in company manuals and memos.
  • Coordinates indoor/outdoor facility and equipment repair needs with Maintenance group.
  • Keep informed of customer needs, new products, competition and pricing and make sound category and item specific decisions with support of Procurement.
  • Develop, coordinate and execute program and/or product life-cycles to maximize and achieve Division sales and gross margin growth initiatives with support of Procurement.
  • Regularly review, monitor, analyze and take appropriate actions to ensure inventory and categories meets customer needs within established objectives.
  • Partners with vendors on new products, discontinued products, in-and-out distributions, additional seasonal demands, promotions, reduction of out-of-stocks and the processing of credits, rebates and returns with support of Procurement.
  • Conduct regularly scheduled store visits as well as unannounced store visits to be able to develop sound business judgment in responding and resolving store issues.
  • Understand and enforce cash audits, loss prevention, safety and security procedures.
  • Establish a routine program of maintenance, housekeeping and merchandising to ensure shopability, safety and protection of company assets.
  • Manages and assists with remodels and new store openings from concept to completion.
  • Provide financial and budget information to managers in order to discuss and recommend improvements to stay within the parameters of the budget.
  • Responsible for fuel reconciliation of stores within assigned area.
  • Participates in weekly operations and supply-chain management meetings, present detailed reports and analysis, discussing issues and action items.
  • Reporting for work in a timely manner when scheduled.
Additional Job Duties:
  • Assisting in other duties, as assigned.
  • Travel at least 75%.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Directly supervises 5 or more Pump Managers.
QualificationsEducation and/or Experience (include certs or licenses needed):
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Business or Business-Finance field or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Broad knowledge of Internet software; point-of-sale systems; category management systems; order processing systems; payroll systems; Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Word software.
  • Must have the ability to read and understand monthly P&L statements.
  • Must have the ability to read, follow, and implement budget controls.
  • Current valid driver's license and be insurable to drive.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be driven, confident, organized and an accomplished problem-solver.
  • Must be able to travel at least 75% of the time.
  • Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and as needed.
  • Must be able to communicate in English. – IF APPLICABLE
  • Able and willing to deliver friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service.
  • Able and willing to work cooperatively with other team members.
  • Must become QSR Certified in Krispy Krunchy Chicken, Little Caesars and Cinnabon.
