
Resident Engineer

- Supervise and manage site works, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Lead and coordinate the site team of Resident Engineers (REs) and Resident Technical Officers (RTOs) to ensure proper supervision and progress tracking.
- Liaise with consultants, SO representatives, contractors, and authorities, ensuring smooth project execution and accurate dissemination of information.
- Monitor project schedules, progress claims, and documentation using scheduling and IT tools, ensuring timely reporting and record-keeping.
- Conduct safety audits, night shift checks, and quality control inspections to ensure site conditions, materials, and workmanship meet specifications.
- Review and assess technical submissions, method statements, drawings, risk assessments, and variations, providing recommendations where necessary.
- Inspect and approve temporary and completed works, addressing defects, ensuring compliance, and overseeing project handover.
- Ensure adherence to workplace safety and health regulations and direct modifications if required.
- Perform site inspections, attend meetings, and prepare reports to update the Employer, Consultant, and Authorities.
- Support administrative and compliance requirements, including foreign worker declarations, security clearance, and site documentation.
- Degree in Civil Engineering, recognised by PEB Singapore, with minimum 5 years' site supervision experience (including 2 years in land reclamation, marine construction, or coastal projects).
- Accredited Resident Engineer (RE) by IES/ACES.
- Strong English communication and report-writing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, scheduling software, and IT tools for documentation.
- Knowledge of marine operations, dredgers, barges, and MPA regulations.
- Must pass internal security clearance by the Employer and Singapore Government.
