- Plans, examines, analyzes, evaluates and supervises security operations.
- Prepares reports and records for management team, evaluates current procedures, practices and best practices for accomplishing activities and functions relative to safety and security.
- Prepares budget estimates and reports, orders supplies and equipment as needed.
- Supervises Loss Prevention personnel, initiating personnel actions including recruitment, selections, transfers, promotions, discipline, and dismissals, prepares work schedules, assigns or delegates responsibilities and evaluates performance.
- Conducts, supervises and prepares reports relating to internal investigations of any losses or violations of regulations, policies and procedures.
- Serves as liaison with public law enforcement, fire and other agencies as it relates to safety and security.
- Ensures overall compliance with OSHA rules, regulations, and maintains proper SDS labeling and records in accordance within the
- Hilton Worldwide Loss Prevention Profile.
- Carries out all reasonable requests or special projects by management of which the employee is capable of performing.
- Assists in the implementation, training and administration of automated security systems, maintains records, and conducts periodic inspections.
- Administers training with regard to Loss Prevention, fire, blood borne pathogens, first aid, CPR and other safety related topics to all team members.
- Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established and revised by HGVC from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position.
- Previous security. Law enforcement or military experience
- Ability to make independent decisions using good judgement, analyzing and independently solving a variety of difficult situations and problems
- Ability to speak, read, write and understand English language to complete job requirements and to communicate with team members, guests and owners
- Knowledge of principles and practices of security operations and management, enforcement procedures and safety practices in a hospitality environment
- Associates degree/College Diploma
- Certified lodging Security Director (must be obtained within 180 days of hire)
- OSHA 511 Training (Must be obtained within 180 days of hire
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification (Must be obtained within 90 days of hire
- Valid State issued Driver's License
- 3-5 years related experience
- 2+years Management experience
- BA/BS/Bachelor's Degree
- 5-7 years related experience
- 4+ years Management experience
