You will be an individual contributor to join the Mission Systems Finance IPP&C EVE team. This position offers an opportunity to be part of a strong team, specializing in Earned Value Management and U.S. Government compliance. We are looking for someone with effective communication, analytical, problem solving and collaborative skills that enjoys working within a rapidly changing environment. You will provide support and training to other financial analysts and program teams on program planning and execution using Earned Value Management and associated tools.The position is preferred to be located near a Collins Aerospace facility, allowing for the leader to be onsite as required should they be near a Collins facility. This role may be eligible for relocation.Primary Responsibilities:
  • Consultant for earned value management practices, procedures, Government guidelines and system tool usage such as SAP, Cobra, and EVMS for Project
  • Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of a variety of factors
  • Ensure compliance with all required corporate, department, and government policies/regulation
  • Provide financial guidance to programs which are moderate to high risk and complexity
  • Provide internal and external audit support
  • Review and update Mission Systems Earned Value System Description
  • Lead implementation of new IPP&C software/tools
  • Contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards in Earned Value Management.
  • Create and update Process Maps and Work Instructions for IPP&C
  • Participate in Government and Industry groups to review, comment and author industry documents
  • Create, coordinate, and deliver training content to the IPP&C organization and program teams
  • Assist in onboarding new IPP&C employees within Mission Systems
  • Monitors and reports performance against plans to ensure the contractual, cost and schedule objectives are met.
  • Assist program teams in developing WBS in accordance with MIL-STD-881
  • Promote cost and schedule integration between data and tools.
  • Regular testing of new tools and software releases
  • Assist with preparation of DI-MGMT-81861B/C
  • Assist with CSDR( Cost & Software Data Reporting
Qualifications/Experience Needed:
  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • 5+ Years Experience with Earned Value Management
  • Prior Experience in EV forProject
Preferred qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with program controls and compliance.
  • Superior analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project
  • Understanding of Continuous Improvement concepts
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
  • Ability to obtain DoD security clearance.
