**NO RECRUITERS, PLEASE**Turner Padget Graham and Laney, PA is seeking a highly motivated Workers' Compensation Paralegal in our Columbia office. 4-6 years Workers' Compensation (Defense) experience is required. Document creation, filing, management and analysis for large cases
Scheduling
Medical record summaries and chronologies
Procurement of medical records/HIPAA compliance
Preparation and service of subpoenas and other discovery requests
Preparation of pleadings and discovery responses
Preparation of routine status reports to clients or national counsel
Statewide roster/docket monitoring
Electronic filings/ECF with Federal Court
Tracking of time spent on client matters and enter time in CMS billing system in a timely matter
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor of Arts degree or Paralegal Certification
4-6 years of Worker's Compensation experience
Experience in insurance company billing requirements
Experience tracking and billing time spent on client matters
Experience with Case Management Software
Candidates should have the following skills and/or attributes:
Keen attention to detail and organization
Thorough understanding of the litigation process
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc....)
Professional demeanor, excellent communication and computer skills and the ability to manage a large caseload in a fast-paced environment
