As part of our ongoing growth strategy, we are looking to hire a Hi-Tech & Manufacturing Lead to take ownership of key projects and help develop the service regionally.We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Project Director to set up major HTM programs in India. This person, will work with market leads across our business units, sector, and proposition owners to pursue, convert and assure our portfolio of HTM projects in country. These projects will cover multi sectors including Data Centre campuses, Life Sciences, Pharma, R&D facilities, Industrial, Manufacturing, Distribution & Logistics highly technical manufacturing & logistics facilities. We are positioned to be at the forefront of these sectors and are keep developing the services we provide to our clients under the leadership of the appointed Major Projects Lead.We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and driven by the goal of establishing Turner & Townsend as the #1 Consultancy for the delivery of major projects and programmes in India, and a recognized expert in the set up, construction planning, construction management, controls, and assurance of such projects in region. Reporting to our Country Manager in India, with links into Regional Directors for Infrastructure and Natural Resources, the individual will be responsible for pursuing, covering and assuring such projects, managing the project teams, bringing subject matter expertise, developing and delivering on a business plan for significant annual growth, maintaining existing clients and promoting the values of Turner & Townsend.QualificationsResponsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

Set up major projects and programs of Hi-Tech and Manufacturing (HMF) portfolio and ensure technical assurance
Advise at a strategic level at the project conception stage, including providing advice on the different approaches that can be adopted in order to successfully achieve the client's overall objectives.
Leading the establishment of the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters
Plan for and the ongoing management of quality, safety, health and environment issues
Establish effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilized throughout project.
Project plan, including ensuring the production of the detailed project plan
Advise upon the procurement of resources
Lead and facilitate the overall cross-functional project team
Monitor and apply performance management techniques, including the use of KPI's to improve project performance
Manage the change control process
Monitor and advise upon project finances
Manage the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications
Ensure the production of formal project progress and other reports
Take a leading role in interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages
Take responsibility for developing new business opportunities with existing and new Turner & Townsend clients
Identify and act upon cross-selling opportunities

QualificationsSkills required

Exemplary leadership and stakeholder engagement skills and experience.
Experience leading complex and major projects and programs (in excess of $200m USD), from tender to completion.
Established connections into HMF and client bodies in India is preferred
Ability to influence, advise and recommend appropriate course of action to management and executives within client or partner organizations.
Experience is in a complex stakeholder environment reporting regularly to key stakeholders including internal teams, appointed technical partners and the client.
Self-motivated and driven.
Results oriented with high work ethic, stringent quality standards and a commitment to action.
Strong knowledge and experience in building assets of various real estate sectors.
Ability to be mobilized across Asia for the setup of major projects and undertake routine visits to assure existing commissions.

Qualifications

Degree qualifications in construction, project management or similar function
Minimum 15 years' experience in the delivery of hi tech manufacturing (data centers, life sciences, pharma, semiconductor, logistic warehouses) projects specifically in India, with the recent 2-to 3 years in a similar role
A team player who is hands-on and meticulous in his/her work
Possess excellent communication and people handling skills
Possess initiative and able to work independently
Able to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
Experience working in MNC companies will be an advantage, ability to thrive in a challenging and fast-paced environment
Meticulous, organized, detail oriented with strong numerical and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills, in person and written.
