- Supervise and coach front end associates.
- Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback to team members.
- Conduct regular team meetings or huddles to communicate goals, updates, and operational changes
- Ensure that customers receive friendly, efficient, and courteous service at all times.
- Handle escalated customer inquiries, complaints, and issues promptly and professionally.
- Implement strategies to enhance the overall customer experience and build customer loyalty
- Oversee the checkout process to minimize wait times and ensure smooth flow at registers.
- Monitor and maintain proper cash handling procedures, including balancing registers and preparing bank deposits.
- Coordinate with other departments to address inventory issues, pricing discrepancies, and product availability.
- Analyze front end performance metrics, such as transaction times, queue lengths, and customer satisfaction scores.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement in initiatives to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and cleanliness standards.
- Provide training to new hires on front end procedures, customer service standards, and POS systems.
- Offer ongoing training and development opportunities to existing team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Proven experience in a retail environment, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and delegate responsibilities in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficiency in POS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software applications.
- Knowledge of retail operations, including cash handling procedures, inventory management, and customer service best practices.
- Versatile in store operations to work across all areas of the business.
- Food Safety Management Certification.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends, nights and holiday when required.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
