Celebrating WNY's picturesque waterfront, we manage and , which host a variety of arts, cultural, entertainment and fitness activities. , our esteemed full-service travel provider, delivers exceptional travel experiences to corporate, group and leisure customers around the world.The many entities of REG are owned by , a family-owned food company working in 100 locations globally with annual sales exceeding $4 billion.To learn more, visit .PURPOSE STATEMENTTo manage & oversee all restaurant and offsite, including VIP and specialty events and design new marketing plans in order to drive the business towards reaching AOP while providing exceptional customer service.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES
  • Develop and execute a structured catering sales strategy, including targeting community and holiday events
  • Develop relationships to secure a variety of viable off site event locations; develop and maintain relationships with local associations, key businesses and institutions, etc.
  • Weekly communication and reporting to Corporate via conference calls, including providing appropriate event documentation such as proposals, BEOs, and contracts prior to the call as weekly activity to generate business, and report sales progress
  • Administrative coordination, deliveries, rentals, set-up and oversight of complete execution of all aspects of catering event
  • Maintain a minimum level of 40% profitability on each event
  • Recruit and retain a reliable and professional catering service staff; execute regular staff training sessions
  • Managerial / Administrative duties for restaurants when necessary
  • Be available to work evenings and weekends as well as holidays when required
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • 5-7 years of foodservice / catering experience
  • Exceptional and proven customer service skills
  • Professionally & efficiently problem solve in a fast paced, time sensitive environment
  • Strong organizational & time management skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with managing a large staff & team building
  • Self motivated
  • Assist chefs in developing creative menu selections for VIP and specialty events
  • Knowledge of wine & food pairing
  • Strong knowledge of all catering equipment and usage
  • Unrestricted Drivers License
COMPENSATIONIn accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates (“Rich's”), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role.
