- Meeting with internal stakeholders to clearly understand the message, brand voice and target audience.
- Proposing copy concepts in an engaging way for clients and carrying out projects once they are approved.
- Interpreting creative direction and technical information and turning them into persuasive copy concepts.
- Working with clients to edit and modify copy to meet their content expectations.
- Effectively write content and copy across several different channels.
- Develop creative concepts, write, and edit engaging copy for campaign assets.
- Be an expert at CFCU’s content marketing strategy, brand guidelines, style guide, and content typology.
- Rigorously proofread and edit member facing and internal documents.
- Be an innovator by recommending new creative channels, technology, approaches for assets and campaigns.
- Responsible for coordinating content and ensuring it’s market-ready on a very tight schedule.
- Follows creative briefs by interpreting instructions and disseminating result to team members in an effective manner.
- Tailor messaging to speak to a variety of target audiences.

- Perform other duties as directed by leadership.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree in Writing, English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications and/or related work experience.
- 2-5 years of copywriting experience.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office.
- 5+ years of copywriting experience.
