Position Title:Warehouse Checker-Full Time 2nd or 3rd Shifts ONLYPay Rate:
  • $23.00 per hour + shift differential if applicable, after probationary period
  • NOTE: During 120 day probationary period role is considered General Helper and earns $19.87 per hour + shift differential if applicable.
Sign on Bonus:
  • $500 after 30 days
  • $500 after 6 months
Category/Shift:
  • Full-Time Fixed Shifts
  • 8-12 hours per day
  • Monday-Friday; Saturday and Sunday as needed
  • ONLY AVAILABLE SHIFTS: 2nd Shift: 3pm-11pm; 3rd Shift: 11pm-7am
Physical Location:Savannah Container-Bourne Warehouse982 Bourne AvenueSavannah, GA 31408The Job You Will Perform:
  • Load and unload trailers
  • Complete pre-start forklift maintenance inspection report
  • Follow proper trailer loading and unloading lock-out/tag-out procedure
  • Complete receiving report to accurately record materials received
  • Submit receiving reports after trailer is unloaded
  • Complete load sheet to accurately record the grades, bale count, loading start/stop times for finished goods on outbound shipments
  • Complete and submit load sheet at completion of shipment
  • Understand and follow load pattern according to trailer, railcar
  • Maintaining work areas to plant standards of housekeeping
The Skills You Will Bring:
  • The ability to work with minimal direct supervision to hit production goals
  • The ability to pay close attention to details and quality
  • The ability to learn and follow instructions as well as ask questions, and work effectively as a member of a team.
  • Previous forklift operating experience in an industrial manufacturing or other labor intensive work experience is required.
  • The flexibility and willingness to work alternate shifts, weekends and daily overtime as required.
