- Providing administrative support directly to Partners, senior Lawyers and their extended junior team, while skilfully triaging tasks from multiple authors.
- Managing finance requirements, including high volume end of month invoicing, processing supplier invoices, arranging trust payments, and comprehensive debtors management.
- Facilitating the life cycle of a matter, including opening new matters, undertaking conflict checks, ensuring compliance with major client requirements, maintaining the electronic file, actioning write offs, file closing and archiving.
- Diligence in day-to-day tasks including answering calls, processing incoming mail, preparing simple correspondence, corresponding with clients, completing ad hoc printing tasks, and large volumes of outgoing mail.
- Maintaining a friendly and professional demeanour while liaising with our clients, third parties, national team members, and inter-department teams. A high level of written and spoken communication skills is required, as you will be a touchpoint for many parties.
- Background in legal administration, seeking a career in legal administration is preferred. Law students need not apply.
- General office experience considered for the right candidate.

- Conscientious and discreet in relation to the highly sensitive nature of information handled by the team.
- Polite and professional in your communication with various internal and external parties.
- Skilled with Outlook and the Microsoft Suite.
- Knowledge of iManage or other file management software is desired.
- Knowledge of Elite or other enterprise finance software is desired.
