- Reviewing complete projects for quality and conformity, and approving work performed by other engineers.
- Independently applying extensive and diversified theoretical principles in the field of marine engineering.
- Assisting upper-level management as a technical specialist, advisor, or expert.
- Supervising all necessary staff to complete assignments.
- Creating and approving scope, budgets and schedules for projects or assignments.
- Preparing proposals and collaborating with the marketing team.
- Representing the company in communications, client meetings, in public functions, and conferences.
- Has signing and sealing authority when assigned by management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Coastal Engineering. Master’s preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) designation and have qualifications in place to apply for license in Florida and New York.
- 8+ years of marine engineering design experience.
- Must be proficient in AutoCAD, REVIT, SAP2000, L-Pile or equivalent software experience.
- Able to work on and lead major projects or several projects of moderate scope with complex features.
- Capable of applying advanced engineering techniques related to the practice of marine engineering.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
