We are looking for an experienced and customer service-oriented Night Auditor to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring that all guests have a pleasant and safe stay.The Night Auditor will be expected to:
- Assist with front desk duties as needed, including check-in and check-out
- Respond to guest complaints, requests and emergencies
- Ensure customer satisfaction by scheduling wake-up-calls and other concierge activities according to guest preference
- Ensure all hotel policies and procedures are followed
- Verify and balance entries and records of financial transactions
- Keep accurate financial records and ledgers
- Running end-of-day reports before the close of the shift
- Ensure the accuracy of guest accounts and resolve any discrepancies
- Reconcile all accounts promptly
- Prepare daily reports for Management
- Ensure that all end-of-day activities have been successfully executed by employees in all departments
- Up-selling guest rooms and promoting hotel features and services
- Maintain an organized and clean front desk area
- Communicating with maintenance and housekeeping departments to ensure the reliability and cleanliness of hotel amenities
- Follow all hotel policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the night shift
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Proven experience as a Night Auditor or in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Good knowledge of accounting
- Ability to handle cash and financial transactions
- Well conversant with Opera
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Time management and multitasking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Availability to work overnight.
