- To undertake a variety of general administrative duties related to the work of the Governance and Quality Assurance Team and support management activities across Brainkind. This includes, but is not limited to, producing information electronically, photocopying, collating and dispatching of large mailings and/or meeting packs across the organisation, preparing invoices for processing, booking meeting rooms, travel etc. to enhance the smooth running of the Team.
- To issue routine correspondence in the form of letters, memos or emails as appropriate. To have responsibility for the receipt, sorting and distribution of incoming internal and external mail to the Team and the process of outgoing mail.
- To administer centralised email accounts for the team and ensure that all requests and responded to or forwarded the relevant contact in a timely manner.
- To develop and maintain electronic filing systems.
- Arrange, minute, produce and distribute accurate records of meetings e.g. corporate, departmental and team meetings.
- To co-ordinate training activities delivered by the team including the booking of delegates onto courses and providing joining instructions and other course related information.
- Produce correspondence and reports from written documents and other sources, including research as appropriate.
- Accurately input data into computerised departmental systems, databases and spreadsheets and process, retrieve and cleanse data as necessary.
- Providing support for project work.
- Liaise with departmental staff, clients and external contacts as appropriate, sharing information as directed and ensuring procedures are properly followed.
- Administer transactional financial processes, including payment cards for ordering goods and service, expense and credit card returns, processing invoices and raising purchase orders via internal systems.
- Answer calls and pass on messages promptly and accurately.
- Undertake available training opportunities identified through appraisal and supervision and show a commitment to continuous development, to maximise your potential and ensure the efficient and effective delivery of the Charity's services.

- Undertake any other tasks commensurate with the grading of the post, as required by the manager/supervisor, ensuring that all duties undertaken are done so in accordance with departmental policies, practices, procedures and standards.
- Attend staff meetings, supervision and training as required, including participation in the annual performance development review scheme.
- Participate in regular support and supervision from line management
- Continuously develop professional knowledge and expertise, attending and participating in learning and development events, meetings, conferences, and events (as requested/approved by line management) to ensure up to date knowledge relevant to the role
- Attend and participate in regular team and other meetings, both internal and external
- The post holder will be expected, at all times, to be familiar and comply with the written policies, procedures and guidelines for good practice, issued by Brainkind.
- Ensure the Health & Safety policy and procedures are adhered to at all times.
- Take personal responsibility for own health and safety and report incidents and potential hazards as necessary.
