Our 98,000 employees operate a network of 2,650 offices and laboratories, working together to enable a better, safer and more interconnected world.Job DescriptionOur client, an international company involved in the energy industry; the development and structuring of projects, engineering, construction, supply, operations, maintenance, asset management and management and sales of clean energy, is looking to hire a Wind Turbine Blade SpecialistThe work schedule 8 hours/day, 6 days a week if possible. The contract would start in July 2024 and end at the of June 2025. Please apply before May 23, 2024.The Wind Turbine Blade Specialist will support everything related to blades at the Wind Farm:
  • On-site inspections: end of warranty, technical follow-up of repairs, receipt of new blades, quality and safety audits, root cause analysis of claims, detailed inspection of blades, etc.
  • Training of new inspectors.
  • Office work: preparation of instructions or technical notes, repair reports, root cause analysis reports, preparation of presentations for training technicians who inspect or repair blades, work planning, preparation of templates for new campaigns, validation of repair reports, proposals for the optimization of repair techniques and processes, analysis of indicators, definition of risk containment strategies, etc.
  • Participation in technical approval processes for new blade repairers.
  • Technical assistance to Site Managers.
  • Assist with the coordination of repair and inspection activities with other contractors and service providers.
  • Participation in Innovation projects
Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in the maintenance and design of blades in the sector.
  • Demonstrated experience on blade repairs, materials and interpretation of fault typology.
  • Strong management skills.
  • Ability to prepare technical documentation.
  • Proactive
  • High level of spoken and written English and Spanish.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Availability to travel both domestically and internationally.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Pay range: ~$45 to 50/hour
