- Set up and dismantle rigging equipment, including slings, chains, cables, and hooks, according to project requirements and safety standards.
- Ensure proper placement and securement of loads to prevent shifting or damage during transportation and lifting operations.
- Collaborate with crane operators, truck drivers, and other team members to coordinate rigging activities and ensure safe and efficient project
- Inspect rigging equipment and hardware for signs of wear, damage, or defects, and report any issues to the appropriate personnel. execution.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies while performing rigging activities.
- Maintain accurate records of rigging activities, equipment inspections, and safety documentation.Requirements:- Proven experience (1-3 years) as a Rigger in the crane, rigging, and transport industry.
- NCCER Certification preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of rigging techniques, equipment, and hardware used in lifting and transportation operations.
- Familiarity with crane operations, load charts, and rigging calculations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to safety at all times.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as required by project demands.
- Must be willing to travel out of state for extended periods as required by project demands.
- Must pass fit for duty assessment, drug test, and background check.Preferred Qualifications:- Certification or training in rigging techniques and safety procedures.
