- Reach out to potential clients through cold calling, emailing, and social media platforms to schedule appointments
- Schedule virtual demonstrations and appointments with city officials, business owners and potential clients
- Track and report on leads/appointments through proposal development and sales using HubSpot CRM
- Initiate outbound calls to provided leads and secure qualified appointments for our sales team (average 20-40 calls/day)
- Maintain a calendar of appointments and ensure that sales representatives are well-informed of their schedules
- Follow up with potential clients to confirm appointments and handle rescheduling as needed
- Utilize CRM software to track client interactions and report on appointment outcomes
- Work closely with the sales team to understand client needs and optimize the scheduling process
- Provide support in managing the lead generation process, ensuring a steady flow of potential clients
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies
- Collaborate with the sales team to optimize appointment setting strategies and achieve collective targets
- Utilize industry databases, CRM, and media prospecting to identify and pursue new opportunities.
- Stay updated with knowledge about our products and services
- Represent the firm professionally and in-line with our values of accountability, collaboration, excellence, and service
- Contribute to lead generation efforts by identifying new potential clients and qualifying them for further engagement by the sales team
- Implement a structured follow-up process with leads who have shown interest but have not yet scheduled appointments, ensuring no opportunity is left unexplored
- Provide valuable feedback to the sales and marketing teams based on customer interactions and market insights, aiding in continuous improvement of strategies and messaging
- High school diploma required, associate or bachelor's degree in business administration, Communications, or related field preferred
- Capacity to work independently and meet daily call volume targets (20-40 calls per day)
- Proven experience as an appointment setter, telemarketer, or similar sales/customer service role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to persuade and influence others
- Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- A positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Experience or working knowledge of local government preferred
- Intermittent office noise
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds waist high
- May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop or bend
- Will be required to operate a computer
- Travel may be required infrequently
