- Reporting to the Company's Chief Financial Officer, the successful candidate shall lead and manage the Shared Service Center(s) in alignment with TriMas' goals and objectives, championing the vision of offshoring shared services work-share activities and tasks.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the TriMas' Shared Service Center(s) aligned with the overall business objectives of the organization.
- Provide strong and effective leadership to the shared services team, fostering a culture of collaboration, trust, innovation, and continuous improvement, with both direct and dotted line reports.
- Recruit, develop, and retain top talent, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the Shared Service Center(s).
- Oversee resource allocation, including staffing levels, skills development, and performance management within the Shared Service Center(s).
- Serve as the functional leader responsible for process mapping within TriMas on the multi-year ERP implementation, starting with TriMas Packaging.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical solutions.
- Lead the translation of business requirements into detailed functional specifications, including process flows and process policies.
- Lead internal TriMas teams in the identification of opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the TriMas ERP system.
- Lead other strategic initiatives as they arise across the TriMas group of companies.
- Support any other special projects as directed by the Chief Financial Officer.
- Travel approximately 50% of the time to support shared service teams and ERP implementation.
- Strong experience in ERP processes and systems, and process mapping.
- Strong experience in developing and managing shared service centers.
- Strong collaboration and influence skills, demonstrating an ability to navigate organizational relationships.
- Excellent people and project management skills, including detail and action-orientation with excellent follow-through skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to take initiative, manage priorities, and work independently.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in finance & accounting, project management, strategic planning, or related role.
- Recruiting and retention experience preferred.
