This individual will be responsible for sales performance, maintaining customer relationships, expanding into new business areas, and ensuring that sales strategies are aligned with the company's strategic objectives. This individual's technical expertise combined with excellent interpersonal skills will be crucial in providing effective solutions to our customers and achieving our business objectivesDevelop and implement a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed revenue targets.Identify and target potential customers including but not limited to the chemical-pharmaceutical sector but also for the agrochemical, flavor & fragrance industries and including contact with manufacturers, research laboratories, and chemical processing companies.Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders at customer organizations.Understand customer requirements, provide technical expertise, and recommend appropriate products and solutions that align with their needs.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D and product commercial development, marketing, and customer support, to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project execution.Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape in the related sector (such as chemical-pharmaceutical, flavour and fragrance, agrochemical, fine chemical).Monitor market conditions, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify business opportunities and recommend strategies for improvement.Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to deliver compelling product presentations, demonstrations, generate leads, and expand professional networks.Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for management revieAn inclusive and respectful workplace|A promising business with 20% - 30% YOY growthBachelor's degree. Major in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field is a plus. A Master's degree is preferred.Extensive years of successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.Sound knowledge of chemicals, especially on organic synthesis and pharmaceutical products, their applications, and manufacturing processes.Strong sales and negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to close deals and achieve sales targets.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.Ability to understand customer needs, identify pain points, and propose solutions that meet their requirements.Proactive, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.Willingness to travel as required to visit customers, attend industry events, and support business development activities.Strong leadership as a problem-solver with excellent analytical skills, good business acumen and strong communication skills.Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales productivity tools.Language: Fluency in both EnglishA technical, integrated and industrial services distributor focusing on the fields of fine chemicals; petrochemicals; engineering, procurement & construction (EPC) and lubricants.
