SummaryWe are seeking a passionate and skilled Dance Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various dance styles and a love for teaching children and teenagers. As a Dance Instructor at the Youth Life Center, you will be responsible for creating a fun and engaging learning environment, preparing students for performances, and fostering a love for dance.Duties
  • Plan, organize, and lead dance classes for children and teenagers.
  • Teach a variety of dance styles, including ballet, hip-hop, jazz, contemporary, and more.
  • Develop age-appropriate lesson plans that align with the center's curriculum.
  • Prepare students for seasonal performances and events.
  • Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to students.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
  • Collaborate with other instructors and staff to support the overall mission of the Youth Life Center.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a dance instructor, preferably with children and teenagers.
  • Proficiency in multiple dance styles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create engaging and dynamic lesson plans.
  • Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine love for teaching dance.
  • Background in dance education or equivalent professional experience is a plus.
