In 2023, Ramp was named Fast Company's #1 Most Innovative Company in North America, LinkedIn's #1 Top Startup in the U.S., a CNBC Disruptor, and a TIME100 Most Influential Company.About the RoleAs a tenured member of Ramp's growing Product Operations team, you will work at the nexus of Ramp's cutting edge FinTech product and the operational realities of what it takes to deliver for a massive and rapidly scaling set of customers.You will own the operations for a meaningful product or set of products at Ramp, while also influencing the overall development of Ramp's internal operations as the company rapidly scales. You will collaborate with your product partners to lay out a data-driven and customer-informed roadmap of features to build and improvements to implement, build out automation and processes to help Ramp scale internally, and assist in the launch of impactful new features and products. You'll work closely with product managers, engineers, design, data and our customer-facing teams, as well as partners and vendors outside of Ramp.*Please note that this Product Operations role will require you to be comfortable with working in-person at our NYC HQ (located near Madison Square Park) at least 2 days/week*What You'll DoCustomer Obsession: Represent the “voice of the customer” within your product space, work to connect the day to day customer experience to product and engineering teams, and bring customer insights to help teams think beyond the boundaries of what exists todayProcess Development: Own meaningful company-wide initiatives to help prepare Ramp for larger scale, and to create predictable and reliable processes for the benefit of the Ramp team and our customers and partnersProduct Analysis: Create high-leverage product analytics and data analysis and use it to surface opportunities for improving performance, quality, and intuitiveness of the productLaunch Support: Ensure that product releases are flawless through documentation, enablement and context sharing across the organizationIncident Management: Achieve fast resolution of product bugs and issues by aiding in the tools and processes for incident identification and resolutionPartner Ops: Manage our operational relationship with relevant partners and vendors, including negotiating strong service agreements and performing joint performance assessmentsWhat You NeedMinimum 5 years professional experience with 2 years working in product management, product operations, or strategy & operations roles, ideally in a fast growing businessExperience driving fast and successful execution of complex initiatives that involve the coordination of efforts of many different teamsTrack record of “seeking the root cause” of issues to find more enduring and impactful solutions than othersExperience leveraging qualitative and quantitative feedback to create product recommendationsExperience working directly with customers or clients through feedback requests and/or user research interviewsExperience leveling up and assisting junior members of your team with constructive feedbackExcellent written and verbal communication skills with experience tailoring a message to different audiencesCan translate data into insights and action, including experience querying SQLComfort in ambiguity and a track record of charting your own pathNice-to-HavesExperience with Retool or other low-code tooling platformsExperience in Management Consulting or Private EquityTechnical programming experience (Python, Java, React)About Our TeamsSpend Management owns our core spend product, including card issuance, reimbursements, and travel & entertainment to control spendIntelligence owns the reporting, savings, and price intelligence products to help companies make better financial decisionsBill Payments owns our invoice management, accounts payable, and B2B payment capabilitiesRisk owns our underwriting and financial products that determine which businesses to approve and how to manage riskGrowth owns onboarding, activation and retention products to help our customers be successful on the Ramp platformAccounting owns creating intelligence in our accounting platform, saving finance teams time and moneyMobile owns our mobile app development and mobile strategyCompensationThe annual salary/OTE range for the target level for this role is $136,000-$160,000 + target equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)Benefits (for U.S.-based full-time employees)100% medical, dental & vision insurance coverage for youPartially covered for your dependentsOne Medical annual membership401k (including employer match on contributions made while employed by Ramp)Flexible PTOFertility HRA (up to $5,000 per year)WFH stipend to support your home office needsWellness stipendParental LeaveRelocation supportPet insurance
