- Process applications and manage the application process.
- Communicate via phone, email and letters to prospective applicants and accepted students.
- Maintain communication with prospective applicants to encourage and support completion of the application process.
- Independently evaluate completed files and make admission decisions based on established criteria.
- Serve as a liaison with other student service departments.
- Create statistical reports and provide analytical data to assist with recruitment, enrollment, and yield strategies.
- Collaborate with mid-level executives to help solidify and manage existing partnerships within healthcare systems, businesses, and educational entities.
- Assist with the development of effective marketing and recruitment strategies.
- Serve as a recruiter for specified programs.
- Work with senior leadership to achieve enrollment goals.
- Serve as a liaison and engaged member within the Division of Student Affairs and University community, participating in committees, events, and projects, including but not limited to working all major University events sponsored by the Division of Student Affairs as requested.
- Show openness to learning about individuals from diverse backgrounds and demographics demonstrates an inclusive attitude toward all social identities.
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Master’s degree preferred
- Significant experience in recruitment, admissions, or student services
- Must be able to travel for in-state and out-of-state recruitment and professional development
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including grammar and formal speech
- Excellent organizational skills
- Able to exercise sound judgment
- Flexible, resilient, and uplifting demeanor
- Able to work with diverse populations
- Competency in technology computer skills; Experience with Banner, FileMaker Pro, and Excel a plus
- Able to collect and analyze data using the results to implement future programs, plans, and strategies
